Biodynamics and territory

VALLEYS OF ABRUZZO

Biodynamic farming as a philosophy and approach
to land, nature and territory.

We have a consistent, ambitious but achievable goal: to make the final consumer find the highest expression of the Territory, in a sincere and fair way. What does it mean? Perfection does not exist, especially in taste.

The kind of winemaking we adopt does not assume the use of products aimed at mystifying and masking the raw material. Our wine lines, from white to red, are produced every day with love, foresight and ambition, for high quality products having as their common goal. A series of wines perfect for a moment of sharing among friends and family, or for a real life experience.

Demeter is a quality badge for the world of biodynamic production. Each bottle carrying its symbol declares the conformity of its producing company to the international standards of this label, certifying the reliability of all processes to the ethical thinking of the biodynamic agricultural approach.

OUR TERRITORY

A fresh spirit, rooted in history,
kept alive in our land.

Abruzzo is a region of southern Italy, with its state capital - L'Aquila - lying between the middle Adriatic Sea and the central Apennines. Covering an area of 10,831 km², it is divided into four provinces: L'Aquila, Chieti, Pescara and Teramo.

TERRITORY

Our region is bordered with Marche at north, with the Adriatic Sea and Lazio at east, and with Molise at south. It is divided mainly into a coastal-hilly part, on the eastern side with beaches and hills facing the Adriatic Sea, and a mountainous part on the western side with the Laga Mountains, Maiella, Sirente-Velino, and Marsicani Mountains, which constitute the main mountain massifs of the Apennine chain.

CLIMATE

Conditioned by the presence of the Apennine-Central Mountain Massif, which sharply divides the climate of the coastal strip with sub-Apennine hills from the climate of the higher inland mountains, Abruzzo is an invaluable climatic and landscape mix for the culture and agriculture of this region of Italy.

LITERATURE

The most celebrated man of letters in the region's history was Gabriele D'Annunzio, one of Abruzzo's most representative and best-known figures. Poet, novelist, short story writer and playwriter, D'Annunzio was a leading personality in our national history as in the history of European culture. But he was not only one: Ignazio Silone, Ennio Flaiano, Benedetto Croce are other important names of International culture came from this territory.
